Brazilian entrepreneur and gaming industry veteran founded one of the first gaming studios in Brazil, LocZGames, in 1996. Sold the studio to Playphone in 2006 and, in 2008, was invited by Electronic Arts to create and direct EA’s first Latin America studio in São Paulo. One of the founders of the Brazilian Game Developers Association, Abragames, also worked at Lockwood Publishing as head of Country Management and at Kokku, Brazil's largest Co-Development Studio, as head of Business Development.

With over 20 years of experience in finance and administration, João Marcelo Moraes has held senior executive roles at companies of relevance in multiple industries — including technology, energy, logistics, retail, and agribusiness — with a focus on governance, efficiency, and sustainable growth. João holds a degree in Business Administration from the Federal University of Pernambuco, an MBA in Financial Management from Suffolk University (Boston), and a Postgraduate Certificate in Business Management from Harvard University. At Kokku, João Marcelo acts as CFO, focused on strengthening the executive structure and supporting the company's sustainable growth.

With nearly 15 years of experience leading projects and operations across technology, digital services, and game production, Carol has built a career focused on transforming complex structures into scalable, efficient, and people-centered organizations. She has led large-scale operational restructurings, implemented cross-functional delivery frameworks, and developed leadership programs focused on collaboration, clarity, and long-term performance. Her experience spans global operations management, production governance, and strategic integration across studios and service lines. At Kokku, Carol serves as COO, leading global operations with a focus on scalability, alignment, and excellence.

With over 15 years of experience in corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations, business agreements and structuring of enterprises in several sectors of the economy. She is Bachelor of Law’s degree by Universidad de Salamanca (Spain) and has a post-graduation in corporate law and in compliance.
